Wierd

With the announcement of the frankly pathetic renaming of St James' Park today i thought it was time to do a blog on some weird news articles that i've read this week. Some are quite amusing and some disturbing.

The disturbing one that i read this week was that an 11 yr old girl has given birth to her child, but worse than that it was during her wedding! The 19 yr old that was the father of the child and the girls husband to be faces up to six years in jail but in what strange way can he possibly justify what he did. There's nothing else for me to say on this really.

Next and possibly my favourite is Australian Psychology Expert Joe Forgas has said that being Grumpy is good for you. Excellent. If this is the case then i'm sorted for life, i may be constantly grumpy but my arguement can always be "it's good for me, just ask Joe Forgas" and nobody will have a clue what i'm on about.

And just to show that not every species on the planet is dying as the metro seems to be saying, rather demoralisingly i might add, but one species at least (apart from humans obviously) is increasing in numbers - the Nomura Jellyfish. In rather a round about way i'm sure this is what Sky News were trying to say when it reported that Giant Jellyfish have capsized a 10-tonne boat. I particularly like Professor Shinichi Ue's quote, 'A huge jellyfish typhoon will hit the country'. I can just imagine lots of these massive jelly fish falling on people's heads which would not be fun for the person being crushed and stung at the same time.

I have just noticed the article on BBC Sport's website saying that Renault are going to hold emergency talks to consider their place in F1. Please don't leave Renault then i have to completely redo by F1 drivers chart for next year. We love you really even though you cheated you lying French *****.
